MIWORLD
It would have been amazing enough if Charles and his team had simply successfully articulated my vision. But they did more than that. Truax & Company distilled my vision, enhanced the concept's potential and moved it forward beyond expectation. They made it real. As the saying goes, 'The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do.' Charles is one of those dreaming doers.

NEPTUNE FOUNDATION'S FLOATING POOL
We initially engaged Truax & Company to generate excitement and raise funds
for an improbable concept with an uncertain future, a Floating Pool for New
York City's underserved neighborhoods.
T&Co helped to create a memorable identity, a compelling promotional
platform and an interactive web site that helped us garner millions in
dollar support and tremendous media coverage in a make or break chapter in
the Floating Pool's evolution.
As a result of our joint proposal, the Pool project was awarded two Kaplan
Brothers Fund grants with which we collaborated on the design and
installation of two forty foot long translucent murals.
The Pool was honored with a Masterpiece Award from the Municipal Arts
Society and 2nd place in the Cooper Hewitt's National People's Choice
Awards, as well as international 2007 Award of Excellence from the
Waterfront Center, 2008 Building Brooklyn Award, a 2008 Neighborhood
Achievement Award and the 2009 International Design Award (Renovation
Category).
Truax & Company's contributions to the project played a
significant role in its winning of design recognition and media attention.
They have our enduring appreciation. Hope floats!

FRENCH-AMERICAN FOUNDATION
I have had the pleasure of working with Charles Truax and his design and production team on several projects. His aesthetic is unquestionably elegant and his design sense no less so. He has a command of style and period that imparts a timelessness to his work. His team is impeccable about deadlines and produced to budget with each project. As if these professional qualities were not enough, Charles is affable and gracious. A gentleman. I recommend him and his work without qualification.

JEWELLGARDEN
What I love to do, and know how to do, is work with plants, talk plants, take photos of plants and write about plants and plant people. What I do not know how to do is take passions and knowledge and make them flow together towards a larger purpose.
Truax & Company took all the individual aspects of my creative output and brought them together in one energetic, stunning and harmonious whole, JewellGarden.com and its line of botanical printed products. Thanks to the vision of their talented designers, each aspect of my radio and web-based programs now compliment one another and my greater goal of celebrating the art, craft and science of gardening. In mid-2008, I had 100 unique visitors to my JewellGarden.com website each month. Thanks to T&Co. I now have hundreds visiting on any given day.
In 2009, after establishing sales and product quality goals, we developed our first printed product, a lovely regionally based gardening calendar. That first product’s success has led to rapid growth in our printed goods market. 18 months later, we have created 2 gorgeous botanical calendars, 7 lines of note cards and 2 very handsome garden journals to be sold in high end retail shops across the country.
I could not have done all that I have without T & Co. holding my hand, walking me through it, and adding that magic that not only brings my vision to life, but also encourages it to grow even more beautiful, richly complex and textured each season.

HARTLEY HOUSE
Charles and the Truax & Company team continue to be a true pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and patience made the design process a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved. They were able to distill our words and strong feelings about our 112 year old organization into a new brand that captures everything we are trying to convey to our community and to our funders. Through the development of our new logo, tagline, marketing materials and the evolution of our website, T&Co acted as true partners and steadfastly guided us through great strides to bring the House forward. Charles led the project with confidence, spirit and a wealth of design expertise that I do not think I could have garnered elsewhere.
